Our company has founded in 1957 by Kemalettin YURTBAŞI who was the craftsman of Perşembe Pazarı as a small lathe workshop in İstanbul / Karaköy. At the beginning of work, muff, nipple, elbow and flange have been produced as well.

The company which produced drilling machine, lathe machine for wooden has began to produce valve and tube expander as depends on market request.

The company has been very rarely because of the gate valve, check valve and special products can be produced. The production of some products as the type of Conical (Plug) Valves and Tube Expanders have been produced by Kemalettin YURTBAŞI firstly in Turkey.

After his death in 1989, his sons, Mustafa YURTBAŞI and R. Semih YURTBAŞI have changed the type of company as collective company and added the label "KY" as the company’s label.

The company continue to serve to clients with high quality in new workshop which has moved to İMES Industrial State in the year of 1990.
